Reg conditions
i) The Reg system is given special discount status by Mountaintop to encourage Cash Register users into the world of computerised Point of Sale.

ii) Reg is our single user, entry level product, which we provide with NO CHARGE for using the software and NO ONGOING SOFTWARE SUPPORT charge. There are, however, charges for installation expenses and training as well as possible hardware charges. Customers can provide their own hardware if they prefer, but it must meet or exceed our current minimum specifications.

iii) The Ongoing Software Support takes the form of up to six free support calls per year. Calls in excess of this allowance are charged at $15 per call. To date no-one has been charged for excess calls.

iv) In return for the free sofrware and software support, accurate Aztec data must be sent off promptly every 4 weeks. This can usually be automated, but the Pharmacy must be prepared to remedy a failure manually if it occurs. Every time Aztec data is not sent the pharmacy will be charged $70 (as varied from time to time). We will assist but ultimately it is the operator's responsibility to make sure that this data is sent. A dispensary link is a great benefit to the pharmacy and is also essential to making Aztec data accurate. For the dispensary link to work, a quality (Cat. 5)network connection is required between an acceptable dispense system such as Fred, and the Reg Computer. It is the customers responsibility to provide this.

v) The Reg software remains the property of Mountaintop Systems. Should the operator fail to pay their bills, then Mountaintop will, after giving 1 months notice require that the Reg software be turned off and removed from any computer where it may have been stored.

vi) The use of Mountaintop Reg software can be terminated by the pharmacy at any time on giving one months notice.

vii) Some notes on what the Reg System includes:
a) Automatic free product udpates
b) Product scanning
c) The same stock pricing options and controls as our leading Mountaintop Pos Lite software.
d) Audit trail recording and searching.
e) Daily till reporting
f) There is no Stock on Hand figure available in Reg, but automatic replacement ordering as well as transmission of the order by PharmX or possibly modem to the major wholesalers along with receipt of invoce electronically if desired.
g) Account charging is catered for and recorded in the audit trail, but no accounts package for producing monthly statements is included.
